Merry Christmas from our Family to yours!
We finally have an updated family photo, and it turned out pretty good!
It is raining here again. We did have a few days last week with sunshine then whilst we were away at Ben's dad's it started to rain alot and the river is up again. Flooding all the low lying areas. Wonderful Christmas present mother nature!
We did have a wonderful weekend away though. Full of fun!
We made it to the beach despite the looming rain clouds and strong winds.. But we did get some sunshine whilst there. And we had a wonderful time searching the beach for hidden treasures.
We went Kayaking in the creek near granddad's house. Grandad tried fishing and got his line caught in a tree... hehehe The boys loved sitting in the kayak with us and gliding along the water.
Grandad also took the boys to look for animal tracks, they found some kangaroo tracks and lots and lots of ants looking for food on the very wet ground!
The rain followed us home on Sunday and there were some crashes along our way, but we made it home safe and sound! We are having a very busy week getting ready for Christmas! Not too much longer to go!! Hope all your plans are shaping up for Christmas and its a beautiful day for you!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! :-)

BOYS!!
We've had a few days of on and off showers and heavy rain. Yesterday the boys had, had enough and decided it was play time in the slosh we call our yard!
Blue Eyes enjoying himself!
Cowboy giving himself a bath apparently! and Enjoying it haha
The dog couldn't be out done he had to join in on the fun and games as well!! And got just as dirty as the boys, but poor Bruce will stay that way until a sunny day, as it is pouring again whilst i type this..
After enough in the slosh, it was time to jump it off!
Our summer this year is suppose to be wetter than normal... I'm not happy with this, But can't change it! It hasn't really heated up a great deal, still some humid days from the rain but not as hot as it usually is this time of year...
We had a great time at Ben's work Xmas party on the weekend, the boys got to see Santa, get some lollies and balloon swords to play with. And other kids to wear them out! Oh and a jumping castle they loved it. Topped off with a sleepover at nana and grandads house. Perfect!
Hope you all had a great weekend as well :-)

Yesterday's harvest!
Look at this basket of goodies....
All out of our garden and Ben's aquaponics! There is also a heap of lettuce in the aquaponics ready for picking! yum!!
Just a quick post today, we got a new computer, we are only renting it though. One of those rent it schemes from Dick Smiths. Suits our budget right now and gives us a computer back!
Hope your all well, it's almost the weekend yay! We have Ben's work Xmas party tomorrow night so that will be some fun! Catch you all soon :-)

AGAIN!!!
I told you it was going to happen, the second cord for the laptop has fried itself.. so this time It.s not getting fixed. we will look at a new cheap laptop\notebook\netbook thing. lol. posts will be on the low again or just photos. Onto some good news, i went to my Gp who sent me for an eye check up. my eye sight is good. but the optomertrist said he thinks i have allergic conjunctivitas. which could be caused from anything i use on myself to plants or something in the air. so begins the process of elimination! we are also putting up our christmas decos tomorrow, inside and out. the boys can.t wait, their cousins are coming to help lol. hope your christmas activities are traveling well. :-)

Bleh...
I have sort of not been feeling so great over the last few weeks, with some yukky headaches and eye aches.. (the reason for not so many posts). I've finally had enough and am off to the Dr's today to sort it out... I'm already thinking that it's some sort of eye strain, but hey I'm no Dr. I'm secretly hoping it's not that bad, extra money to fork out at Xmas time for medical expenses is not fun, but if it's needed then it's needed. Everyone's prezzies will be my health hahaha!!!
Something exciting now, we are receiving our chrisco food hampers this week.. We love it and have been doing it for at least 4 years now. I know it would prob cost less to buy it all from our local supermarket, but having to also get the prezzies and battle the crowds for that this time of year. something to make our life a little easier and it's paid off over the year is fantastic. We also got the boys big prezzies through it this year. Even though i stuffed up one of the codes and have something coming i didn't want. It will get put to good use for Blue eye's birthday next march.
Anywho, enough computer time for me. Hope your all having a good week :-)
P.s Sent off my prac assessment for acrylic nails yesterday, so within the next couple of weeks will find it if I've passed it all or not!!

back online.
We now have a new cord for the laptop. But don't know how long it will last, seems where it plugs into the laptop gets quite hot and eventually fries the cord so it doesn't work properly... So i see a new laptop in the near future :( more money to spend.. Oh well it never stops really!
On a brighter note, we had an excellent time camping with friends and family on the weekend, i will post some photo's in the next couple of days. But if your wanting a peek at some now go to our very close friends blog on my side bar of favourite blogs, It's called 1 Small Masterchef and Co. Will give you a huge laugh!
I'm off to get ready for work today. Hope you all had a great weekend!

Our Fishing Adventure.
We had a fantastic time on our fishing charter yesterday! My arms are sore, a little sun burnt, but that just means it was GOOD! Our first stop once out in the ocean was frustrating. Rainbow beach has a colony of Mutton birds descended on them, and i managed to catch 6 of the little blighters on my line, i also have the scratches to prove it! lol. But we pushed on, the birds tried to follow but eventually gave up! Thank goodness!
It was the best day for fishing, the sun was shining, hardly any wind about, PERFECT! And it was pretty much full of fishing, if we weren't fishing we were holding on travelling to a new spot. We all ate whilst fishing! No mucking around! Just what i wanted to, it was a full on day, but i love fishing SO much more now!
Our Catch!! Of course we caught alot more than this, but alot were under size and had to go back to grow! We have, a Cobia, Blue Tuna, Sweet lip, Moses Perch and some pearl perch! Funny thing is, i don't seafood! So Ben has some eating to do!
The boys getting excited over all the fish we got to bring home!
Ben and I with our BIG fish!
Ben holding a Cobia, and myself with my Tuna! My tuna was the biggest out of our catch, not the biggest on the boat, just between Ben and i hehehe. I caught it on a little 3kg Brim rod. I had to run round the boat 3.5 times to land it. I was close to having the line snapped a few times. But i had everyone on board giving me encouragement and moving all the gear so i could follow it until it was finally close enough to net it! Best feeling ever!
Now I'm not quite sure whether we should buy a camper trailer or a BOAT!! That is how much fun i had!!
This is the wonderful Keely Rose! Great boat and Great crew! Will be definitely going out with them again!
I'm totally buggered today, so not much going on, the boys had a blast at granny and pa's house, so has been a excellent weekend! Hope you are all having a great weekend as well!! :-)

SLEEP OVER!
Tonight (Friday night) the boys are sleeping over at Granny and Pa's, while Ben and I sleep over at His Aunties house so we are closer to Rainbow Beach for our Charter Tomorrow!!
I have to call the Charter People this morning and make sure all the weather will be suitable for fishing tomorrow. I purchased some sea sickness tablets yesterday. I don't think i will get sick, but just incase i will take some!
The boys are super excited about sleeping over at Granny's tonight, they haven't been to Granny's all week! So they will all have a blast!
Well I'm off to pack our things up and do some cleaning before work!
Hope your all having a great week, enjoy your weekend. I will try remember to take some photo's of our fishing to post on here. :-)

Whoa 6 years really??!!
Today is our 6 year wedding anniversary! Can't believe we are up to number 6!!!! I thought the boys were growing so fast.. 6 years of marriage and almost 9 years together in total! WHOA!
Although today is a special day, Ben is at a Metallica concert. There is no way i would be able to stop him from going.. So why fight. Instead he is making up for it by taking me on an all day fishing charter! I do love fishing but don't get much of a chance to actually fish. Keeping little boys out and away from deep water seems to be my main priority when at the beach. So a day out on a boat without the munchkins fishing will be great!!
He also couldn't help himself and went and got me a lil prezzie as well. Only thing is he hid it when he got home, and lasted oh about 2 hours before caving and giving it too me! hahaha. He always tries to hand out prezzies early. If it wasn't for me the boys wouldn't get anything on their birthdays or Christmas cause Ben would give it to them weeks before the special day! hehe.
I love looking at this photo, all of our glamour photo's we had done last year are great, but this one shows exactly what everyday is like, if we don't laugh we won't get through it(of course there is tears and tantrums and the like, but at the end of the day you just gotta laugh!). And to be able to laugh with someone who puts such a huge smile on my face everyday, (whether he knows it or not) makes me one very, very, very HAPPY WIFE!!! No way would i be able to get through such hair pulling times without such a caring, lovable person! ( with a little smartass sprinkled on the side to spice things up!) And with 2 little boys JUST and yes i mean JUST like their DADDY (just ask their Granny!) I'm living one very fulfilled life, PERFECT!
Love you with all my heart my wonderful husband xoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxo

Things that go BUMP in the Night!
Ben and I were woken suddenly last night with a very LOUD thud sound coming from the other end of the house (kitchen area).
Which was followed by.......
A very LOUD scared crying little boy sitting the in dark by himself because he tripped over..
Yes Blue eyes has decided to take up sleep walking. He very much dislikes the dark, so i know for sure he did not venture out of his room AWAKE. He was very much ASLEEP until tripping over and waking himself up. He was very quiet on his venture. Usually i here any movement or footsteps coming from their room walking on to the hard floor. But last night i heard nothing until he tripped.
Now after that incident Blues took forever to go to sleep as he was terrified of what had happened. And when i made it back to my bed ben flipped out and thought he heard him walking around again... So i spent the next hour thinking of scenario's of what he might do on his sleepwalking.. The one that most feared me was opening the front door and going for a wonder without me hearing.. But i would hear him wouldn't i. I mean our front door is a glass sliding door and a screen door and if i lock both i'm sure i would hear him opening them and catching him before he gets outside.... WOULDN'T I????????
My sil has told me about some sleep walking she did and still does sometimes and it terrifies me... Any advice is much aprreciated as you can see the wonderful thoughts i am having about this experience.
Hope you all have a great day, I'll be thinking up ways to block our doorwarys at night whilst we sleep!

Its easy to get sidetracked!!
Saturday was filled with windy rainy weather. But when it wasn't raining we went outside to do some work.
Working hard for mummy and daddy. We harvested the rest of our onions and the leek we had (which today i made a soup with!) and cleaned out the gardens and dug them over a little.
Until someone found something
Oh look a worm, or as Blue eyes says WORMIE!!!
teasing the worm, by pretending to put him back in the garden.. Wormie stayed around for awhile to play, whether he liked it or not!
Big brother noticing that little brother is not working anymore and wondering why. Poor wormie ended up in 2 soon after this photo was taken.. The rain soon set in again after our garden work.
This is the garlic we had growing. We decided to peel some and sit them in oil so they last longer for us. But some how i don't think we grew enough. what we have wont last very long. We love our garlic.
On Sunday we had organised to go down to our friends place, for a fish and to watch the v8's race bathurst. But it was raining AGAIN! We left very early in the morning and pulled up along the Noosa River so Ben could have a fish...
Fishing in the rain.
I went and got a coffee and some breaky from the bakery across the road before Ben set out. The lady asked me what we had planned for the day. I told her of my plans to sit in the car with my boys and my coffee and watch my husband do some fishing.. She had a very good laugh at me! And Proclaimed at least hubby was thinking of me when suggesting i sit in the car, while he fishes.
Ben didn't fish for too long. The wind was very strong and cold. So we set sail for our friends place. And we decided to take all little boys (5 in total) plus their 2 mums to see Despicable Me. Whilst their daddy's had a few beers and watched the car race. So we still had a very good day, even if it was raining. Ben was most upset that he didn't get to fish properly. He will get to go again soon, we are going on a fishing charter in a few weeks time for our wedding anniversary, without little boys to take over fishing time. So fingers crossed the rain stops and the fish are a biting!!
Hope you all had a great weekend :)

12 Months Siezure FREE!!
Whilst talking with my sil at our family get together the other weekend. I came to the realisation that it has been over 12 MONTHS since our little blue eyed devil of an ANGEL has had a Febrile Convulsion / Seizure.. We have had a few close calls in the last 12 months, and if i hadn't of prepared ourselves properly with the right tools would have had more convulsions than none! This also doesn't mean he has grown out of them yet, we still have at least 4 years until that happens... So still a long way to go, but one year down with none is fabulous. Small steps at a time!
I must admit (and I'm sure his grandma's do this as well although wouldn't admit to it, I'm looking at you Granny hehe :)) I do on a daily basis check his temperature, just by rubbing my hands over his face and around his neck and then on his belly. I do it now out of habit. The convulsions can come on so fast, so i wouldn't even be able to tell you how many times a day i do it as i just do it now sub concsiously and when i feel warmth on him, my brain kicks in and i rip his shirt off get him and drink and cool him down. We've got a good routine now!
OK so some more realisations this morning, while looking for a photo here on our computer I've found its been well over a year since I've organised the photo's into their right folders.. That is going to be a fun job NOT!
And i can not remember the last time i read some of my book... I've been slack with that one! I don't start work until 11am this morning so I'm going to park my bum while the boys have a play outside and read some before jetting off to work!
Hope your all having a great week, we are having sunshine in the mornings and dark clouds/sometimes rain the afternoon... Spring is here and summer definitely on its way!

One Tired little Boy!
I couldn't help myself, This is the second time within a week that blue eyes has fallen asleep at the table. This time it took him a little longer to actually go to sleep, as he was still hungry and really wanted to keep eating! hehe
I filmed it on my phone and had it around the wrong way, so you'll need to tilt your head, but you'll get the idea and how funny and cute he is!
Angus Sound asleep on his chair!

Look at this fat Backside!!
The other day Both Ben and I noticed, someone in the family has gotten a little bigger pretty fast over the last couple of weeks.... So i took a photo to show you..
It's not the best photo, but this is Bruce (or dog) and his new found figure..
This is an old photo and doesn't really show how lean he once was, but I'm sure you can get the idea! We recently (only a handful of weeks) have been feeding our fatty bum a premium dry dog food. My brother got it from his work for us, and told us not to feed him too much. So we followed the instructions, but he still got fat/bigger lol. I caught 2 little helpers the other day feeding Bruce during the day (outside playtime) SO our little dog has turned into a bigger dog thanks to 2 little helpers!
Yesterday the boys and i went down to the shops for awhile and had some lunch with some very good friends. I took the boys into the toy shop for a look. They were very well behaved and didn't throw any tantrums upon leaving. So they got a ride in the coin operated car ride at the front door.
Boys driving Brum. They loved it, it didn't go for long enough i think but still enjoyable for them.
This weekend is mostly another one at home, which will be good. Get more jobs done! Hope you've all had a great week :-)

Family DO.
We had an excellent weekend at my parents house. Just about all our cousins turned up for our family get together. The boys had a blast playing with the little cousins. As usually i forgot to take alot photo's so i only have a few to show you!
after a big day of playing they all tried to fit in the bath together! a little squishy but they got clean.
The morning after, most had a sleep in so we had a lateish breakfast, but it was a big one. We did not need lunch!
enjoying breakfast.
Mum's flower garden.
Dad's bamboo/ tropical garden.
This is the driveway my boys and my brothers kids (in the bath with the boys) ride their lil plastic toddler bikes down... Really fast as well..
After taking this photo it kinda looks like the boys are actually sitting in a rainforest!
This week is back to normal for work for me. Time to catch up on all my house duties. And I've started toilet training blue eyes again. He didn't quite get it last summer. So now its started to warm up, I'm going to give him all spring and summer to try "catch on" to this toilet thing! haha Wish me luck!
Hope you all had a great weekend :-)

This week is back to normal for work for me. Time to catch up on all my house duties. And I've started toilet training blue eyes again. He didn't quite get it last summer. So now its started to warm up, I'm going to give him all spring and summer to try "catch on" to this toilet thing! haha Wish me luck!
Hope you all had a great weekend :-)

Bits and Pieces
This week has been a good week so far, besides lack of sleep at night from MR blue eyes. But i think that is due to his bottom molars finally pushing the whole way through and raining weather stopping their outside play!
Today is cloudy no rain yet but it looks like it could any moment. Not my ideal spring weather.. Tonight i am working (late night shopping) and after being up early to take Ben to work i think I'm going to need a coffee or two to get me to 9pm tonight!
I have finally put some photo's up first i have our potato patch.. I have no idea what i would do with out potatoes. We love them! They are always the fail safe option dinner if the boys aren't eating properly!
Hopefully we get a good amount of this lot!
This is Mr blue eyes in a disposable kids chef apron and hat!! Bit blurry from being taken off my phone but you can still see him! In the shopping centre i work at they have a special machine with all shops listed and they offer special deals for your shopping needs and sometimes freebies. Centre management also throws in some special freebies. The above chef apron and hat being one of them. Seeing as the boys love master chef this was a brilliant win for them!
This weekend we have a family get together with my mums side of the family. At my parents house. All Aunties, uncles, cousins and their partners and kids (well most of them) are travelling up for the night to catch up and have a few drinkie poos!! We use to do it at Christmas but past years everyone has to work over the holidays and not many were turning up. So a mid year get together has been planned instead. Should be a good night! Hope your all having a great week :-)

Another full week.
This week i am working everyday, except the weekend yay!!! Tonight will be a long night, i start work at 1.30pm and work until 9.00pm. I'm only use the the 4-5 hour day shifts, not late night shopping 7hour shifts... I'll be needing some coffee's to keep me going i think!
On a brighter note, we are going to spend most of the weekend at HOME!! yahoo. Finally a weekend that does not have any other plans set in concrete. I am however going to try do my mani/pedi prac exam on my wonderful mummy. I haven't given her either yet so i think she will enjoy it! Plus we will be doing all our normal household stuff spend as much time outside in the sunshine as possible. So far spring has been excellent, although the days are warming up fairly quickly, the nights are still nice and cool. All our flowers are out, are veggies are going great guns. Ben is awaiting some silver perch to arrive today to put in his aquaponics, which i need to do another post on and update you all, as it has completely changed since he first started it. He has learnt so much about it and is completely addicted to it, which is good he has found an excellent hobby that is going to grow us some food.
I haven't baked bread in awhile, so i purchased a 12kg bag of bread flour from the wholesalers yesterday. Went to make some last night, and my break maker has seized up. Just the bucket part, been sitting there not used for a couple of months, i think its a little cranky at me. So this morn i have been making some by hand, they are ok... not as good on the mixing as the machine tho lol!
anyway i best be off to get some more jobs done before going into work. Hope your all going well and enjoying your week :-)

Up Way To Early.
Today is Saturday and for a change I have to work today, for most of the day... The manager has gone on holidays so they need some extra help. And tonight we have Ben's 10 year High School Reunion, the boys are going to my mums for the night. So I not only have a big day at work but will have a big night. So instead of getting some extra rest this morning, I'm awake and up at 5.30am....
I get Sunday off work, then have to work Mon-Fri next week. Not full days but still, for me who is not yet completely use to the working life yet again it makes for a big week!! There are quite a few things on in the area this weekend, so I'm secretly hoping that it's not very busy so i get an early mark... he he
But i am looking forward to tonight, our close friends are coming up and staying the night with us and I've bumped into a few of Ben's other old school classmates who have said they are going, so it should be a good lot of fun!
Hope your all planning for a great weekend :-)

Where has time gone and It's MY BIRTHDAY!!
Wow it's been almost 2 weeks since i last posted on here.... In that time all of us (except Ben for a change) have been on the sick side!! I'm on antibiotics to get rid of a sinus infection and the boys are slowly but surely getting over their last cold weather snotty noses!
We've also been camping, fishing, doing some jobs around the house! Sunday just gone was fathers day. We took Ben down to Noosa to fish near the river mouth with our close friends. Like any fathers day should be, Ben spent most of it having a few cold beverages! haha. It was very overcast with some scattered showers around, none of which got us. But i left the camera behind just in case it poured down on us! We left just in time to our friends house for a lovely slow cooked pea and ham soup. Then returned home at 10pm that night! It is very safe to say Ben thoroughly enjoyed himself!
Today the 7Th of September is MY BIRTHDAY! Ben has to work, so i get to spend my day doing my normal household chores, BUT tonight we are going to go out for dinner with some friends and family. We don't normally do that, so this year i said its a must!!
The sun is out and shinning after a couple of gloomy days and its going to be a beautiful spring day, so no doubt the boys and i will spend most of it outside enjoying the sun!
Hope you have all had a great weekend. we are all getting back on track with health and house jobs so i will be able to post more often again!!

Double Trouble!
Last night was spent jumping between, my bed, Blue eyes and Cowboy! They both have had a minor temp. Cowboys is gone now, don't know what the deal is with him, he hasn't had a temp since he was 2... Blue eyes on the other hand geez!!! He has his second molars still popping through on the bottom so I know his deal! Just wish he wouldn't get the temps with it.. He got to 38C we got him down from there straight away. He woke with it at that temp, so i fixed it fast so it wouldn't jump any higher.
They are both currently asleep on the lounge chair.. I was as well about half hour ago. lol. Trying to catch up on some sleep. I think it was a grand total of about 4 hours, but very broken! We drove Ben to work this morn as it was raining, not very good riding weather! We have a play date today, Don't know if I'm looking forward to it more than the boys. They have a wonderful cubby house with slide and swings, if only i were a kid again! hehe. I think its that the boys will be playing with 2 girls that is putting cowboy off. But once he gets there i know he'll jump right in always does! haha.
Anyway time to go, oh we had a wonderful weekend at the races. Got home at 3 am!!!! Was a great time! Hope you all had a great weekend! :-)

Going Good.
Second week down, we are all doing great with the new routine. Still haven't been able to find much time to have computer play time and do some posts on here lol. I've taken a heap of photo's to upload of our garden and how its looking. But Ben downloaded The never ending story SERIES.... So our Internet has been slowed and will take forever to upload photo's grrrr
Today is Friday, I'm off to work today. Then tomorrow we are going to our local horse races. Ben's work is sponsoring the races tomorrow, so we get free tickets, lunch and some free drinks. The boys are off the my mum's for the afternoon and night yay!! I'm still trying to decided what dress to wear... I purchased some new shoes from work hehehe (my find of the week). Our friend also Ben's workmate Amanda has talked me into getting a spray tan.... Someone else at work (Ben's work) is getting it done at her house with a few other people and asked Amanda and she wants me to do it to. I've never had one before. We don't know the lady that is doing it and I'm a little suspicious that its not going to look good lol. But Amanda is going to ask more questions today before we do it tonight. If it looks funny I'm sure there will be photo's to show lol.
Anyway I've got some chores to do before going to work. Hope your all having a good week and an enjoyable weekend!

Settling IN.
Last week was Ben's first week in Services team. He has moved from the boning room, something new for him. And us as well. He has gone from shift work to normal hours. He gets to work in all parts of the abatoir. Last week he was doing anything from boning, pushing beef to working in the office!! This week he gets to run another training session for new peoples, which is great. He has something different to look forward to at work now.
But as a family we've only ever known his old work hours. Early shift one week, late shift the next. We had been running on a two week routine. Now we have to change our routine as Ben will be here EVERY night!! I was just about beside myself when he started last week. Today I'm even more excited. Cause i know he will be home at 3.30pm not 10.00pm today!! Yahoo! And we are up early enough to see him off in the morning, it makes it even more exciting! hehe
Alot has been going on over the last week, in amongst the boys being grizzly from snotty noses and the change of daddy's work hours. Ben has moved his aquaponics and added some more to it (i need to take some new photo's to update you). Some veggies have died/gone to seed thanks to the stupid winter we are having. Feels more like a spring than winter... I dread what summer will be like.. Lots of fishing and swimming trips i think! Alot of our flowers are coming out making our garden look very pretty!
We had a house warming for our friends on Saturday, that was great. Haven't been able to catch up with them for awhile so was very nice. Last night we had another catch up/friends needing some business photo's done! Our friends that have started their chocolate and meat spice business needed to take some photo's of meat cooking with their spice on it. And they thought Ben's fire pit he built would look great in photo's. Who would refuse a free feed, great company and some drinks! Was a fabulous night, and the food amazing!! The steak they brought over was the biggest T-bone i have ever seen, and was cooked to perfection! Not to mention the spices!! YUMMO. The chicken was just as good. We hadn't tried their chicken spice yet, only the beef spice. So we were very excited and were not disappointed! I took a photo on my phone but i didn't turn out to well.. I am going to try my hardest this week and get out and take some garden photo's. The sun is shining and it is beautiful weather! The boys have been outside most of the day, I keep trying to get them to rest but they sit for 5 Min's and they are out the door again.. They will sleep well tonight Fingers crossed anyway!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a great start to the week :-)

Happy Birthday Cowboy.
Cowboy had a wonderful Birthday. A play and some morning tea at the park. Lots of prezzies! And great company. Was only a small morning tea, but we were there until lunch time so they all had a excellent long play! We couldn't even get him to rest when we got home. He had to sit and look through his goodies! Blue eye's past out for about 2 hours, poor thing woke up sick :( To big a weekend for him i think!
Here are some photo's from our play at the park. Wish i had of video'd some of the prezzie openings. Cowboys little squeal of delight opening them was hilarious!
Feeding the ducks.
I love this photo, Cowboy and our friends middle son deep in conversation!
Looking for Turtles, catfish and eels. Behind the safety of the bridge rails!
Ducks.
The beautiful ice cream cake.
about to cut the cake.
Blue eyes enjoying his slice of cake.
Big boys sitting together.
B enjoying the ice-cream cake.
Resting whilst eating!
everyone helping with the unwrapping.
On his Bike.
I'm very glad we got him a bike, he loves it a lot. And is mastering it really well!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend :-)

Find of the Week.
I've known about this one for a few weeks now, but this week was the first week that i was able to get it.
A friend of mine has started up Ozzy Fresh Produce. She goes down once a week to the fresh fruit and vege market in Brisbane and stocks up, to then sell to us the public! She has two different sized boxes for sale a small $30 box and a Large $50 box. We got the small box this time. We don't live that far away from Brisbane, but still our supermarkets fruit and vege aren't great alot of the time.. So it is excellent to be able to buy something we know is fresh, and it also gets delivered to us, either to our home or work! Love it!! I think she is on to a winner!
Our Yummy Box!
This weekend is another busy one, a first birthday party tomorrow afternoon and Cowboys birthday on Sunday! I purchased a bike for him the other day, and put it together myself. I was very proud of myself, and so was Ben! Only part i couldn't do was connecting the front brakes. It wasn't in the instructions which was strange but Ben knew how to do it so i left it to him. Cowboy doesn't know what he is getting and won't get it until we take him to the park on Sunday! I think I'm just as excited as him! Cowboy is getting very excited, counting down each sleep until the big day.. So excited that he's started wetting the bed every night this week! So last night and the next couple of nights he will wear a nappy to bed, I'm a little over the midnight bed and pj changing the washing everyday and getting both boys back to sleep after the above mentioned process... Gah!
But anyway, time to bath the boys! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend :-)

Australia Zoo.
Here is a snap shot of our day at Australia Zoo! We had a fantastic day, Ben and i loved it just as much if not more than the boys did! If your visiting Australia or the Sunshine Coast area this is a must. It is well worth the money!
The bus left at an early 7.30am!
So an early morning rise was needed!!
The boys were so well behaved on the bus trip down, a movie helped occupy the constant question from cowboy "how much longer to the zoo?"!
We made it in great time and arrived before the zoo was opened. We studied the map, hired a stroller and set off to look at the otters then the lizards.
The boys looking in on a Komodo Dragon.
A Jabaru. This handsome fellow was in the wildlife show, he flew down over the roof and audience. Only about a meter away from us in the air. The ladies behind us got a fright and screamed!
Graham the crocodile helping with the wildlife show in the crocaseum.
The wildlife show was a great way to take a break and listen to some very useful information about some of our native wildlife.
We had some lunch after this and then set off to find some more animals.
The beautiful elephants finishing their display, they had a swim after this and made huge racket! We also looked in on the Tigers, but it was quite a hot day on Saturday and by the time we made our way there they were having a rest. Bit too hot for playing!
We walked back through the koala walk and Roo haven.
Mumma and Bubba Koala having a kip.
Blue eyes with Molly the Koala.
Cowboy with a Kangaroo.
My Little Croc Hunter!
Even though I live in Australia I have never seen a Cassowary close up. I myself did not realise how big they actually are!
Ice - cream break! We were getting so hot that the pools in the croc enclosure's were looking quite nice for a cool off.. If only they weren't already occupied!
Agro the Salt water Crocodile
Agro showing off! Not many teeth left in this old fella's mouth. He is roughly 4.5m in length.
Scrappa is Agro's son.
By gift shopping time, the boys had almost enough. Blue eye's decided it was time for a nap!
So we sat down by the statues took some photo's and had a play with our items from the gift shop. There are so many things to see and do, I am pretty certain we didn't see and do all of it! They are currently building a cheetah enclosure, so who knows how much more they will have for us to see the next time we get there! Cowboy was a little upset he didn't get to see Terri, Bindi or Bob (the did walk through the zoo but we weren't at the right place at the right time). Even though he is only 4 he knows who Steve Irwin is! He has only seen Steve a handful of times on TV or on his Wiggles dvd. But knows about him and what he does.. At lunch time he asked where Steve was.. We didn't quite know how to answer, then he piped up and suggested that he was probably in the crocodile suit that we saw in the crocodile show. We didn't tell him exactly what happened to Steve, I don't think he is quite old enough yet. But it amazing that just a handful of years on, a little boy who was only a baby at the time knows all about him! And Loves him, even before going to the zoo he has pretended to be the croc hunter catching and releasing crocs!!
I hope you enjoyed our photo's, it was hard deciding which ones to put up (that is why there are quite a few!) This weekend is Cowboys 4th birthday, so we will be organising a little morning tea for him! Hope your week is starting out well :-)
