Gettin MA Groove Back!

Ok, First week of school for Cowboy went super well! Second week started today, and went super as well! Easy as for drop off. Making it super easy for me! Whoo!
So that now means its time for me to get organised. And I've been doing alot of that today. Also did alot of that last Friday with Ben for organising some financial goodies, new second hand car and a new boat hopefully in the pipeline this week. But also getting rid of our Credit Card for good. The evil, evil thing it is!

Today I re-did our meal planner, seeing as Ben is away most of the week, I can make meals to mainly suit the little men of the house. And also made myself a weekly planner, I felt last week i needed my lists more so than ever. As i had more time, i felt a little lost. So made one up and laminated it as well. Very happy with myself!

This is where our laptop and accessories have been living on the dining table.. In the way all the time. So it was time to organise a space for it permanently.

I have been wanting to buy a computer table, but can't find one i like. So I've improvised for now and used one of our camping tables.. Works pretty good i think!

More organising to come this! Whoohoo!!

Teary Start.

Yesterday was Cowboy's first day at school. He was so full of nerves and excitement in the morning he would not allow me to take his photo lol!

I new that he would/will LOVE school, he thrives on structure and routine and has a massive thirst for learning and knowledge. But he has a bad case of separation anxiety, well he use to.

He did have a few tears when i had to leave, but was happy for the teacher to take him for sit down time on the carpet. Me well of course i had tears! But because he wasn't so bad, i wasn't so bad. I did worry about him all day, he has a way of holding on to things and making you feel bad for something that happened days ago. So i was waiting for some sniggering when i picked him up.

But this is what greeted me....

I think he enjoyed his first day. He tried to tell me all about it, but too many things were swirling around in his head most of didn't make sense. He did teach me the Hokey Pokey lol. And exclaimed quite loud after that lesson that he was going back EVERY day to school, BUT not weekends cause that's when i get to see daddy.

I was very proud of him this morning, he backed up the second day with confidence, he hugged his teachers without hesitation and was happy for me to leave and for him to sit on the carpet and wait for the teacher to go through their morning board.. One BIG school boy now!!

I've been plodding along trying to get my products organised to try and sell..

I received my order of goodies today. So will be mixing, stirring and pouring over the next few days.

I had an idea the other week to sell these as well. Nice lil packs to go with a scrub or body wash! Although the organza bags i ordered are a little smaller than i expected. My fault didn't read the size properly before purchasing.. They can still be used though.. They have to be i have 100 of them!! LOL

Hope Blog Land is well!!

7 Days..

We have 7 days until our Cowboy starts Prep (school). He is very very excited! I'm very glad he is getting so excited about it. He has had a mixed bag of emotions over it the last few months. The actual first day, may be a different story. Grandma is coming to stay though and will look after Blue Eyes whilst I take him. As we've had over the years some separation anxiety for both boys. I really don't know how long I'll be at school with him the first day, so Grandma's help will be excellent!

Cowboy after getting his uniforms last week.. Super Duper Happy!!

I Finally got around to making some more Washing Gel, Lemon Eucalyptus, our clothes will smell great!

We've heard from a couple of people about a shop in Bundaberg called Nanna's Pantry. So we went to check it out yesterday.. It has now become my fave shop.

Both pictures are from Nanna's Pantry, they have all sugars, flours, dried fruit, lentils, beans the list goes on some standard and some organic. They make some of their own products i got us some of their peanut butter. They also have teas and coffee seeds/pods what ever they are called and will grind them too. A whole room of lollies as well, chocolate, nut mixes. We shall shop there often i think.

My New book, I've been told by Ben his dad wants to read this when I'm done, i better get reading then! Don't think I'll have any trouble he's a pretty interesting guy.

We went kayaking, fishing and prawning yesterday, for about 3 hours. Was excellent, I caught a baby shovel nose shark. Ben caught 2 baby bream and a heap of prawns in his cast net. Which turned into our dinner, Best prawns I've ever had! He is the best hunter gather and cook!!

Next weekend we have Ben's work Christmas weekend. So will sure to have some photo's to share! :-) xx
